Aurora
Aurora Aksnes born 15th June 1996 Stavanger is a Norwegian music writer and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves, came out in May 2015 on Decca Records to great approval from music journalists and media. Half the World Away - by Oasis to accompany John Lewis' Christmas ad and Nature Boy - by Nat King Cole - are already two covers worth noting that the singer has created. Katy Perry, who endorsed the song Runaway by her, gave her the track a little more attention. Enjoy her day. Aurora Aksnes' earliest memory of music is when she discovered a grand piano in the attic. The piano was fascinating to her the possibilities it offered. Her parents May-Britt and Jan Oystein Aksnes encouraged her to study music, not for an occupation or pastime but to grow. The singer began to write lyrics of her own. She has cited renowned songwriters Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan for inspiration, as well as a love for Bjork's style. When her mother told her that the songs she composed were not meant to gain fame for her rather to help people to realize the value of themselves and their impact to our world at large, she started singing them in public. She began playing the piano as her primary instrument at the age of six. She began creating music after turning nine. The fact that she was a musician wasn't known to her family until she turned fourteen. Aurora's fame was not her dream. Aurora is simply a writer who loves writing songs. According to her, the music she writes is how she feels about any thing.
