Anna Silk is Canadian actress who has been best known in Canada for the role of Bo. Silk is a Canadian actress who was born in Fredericton New Brunswick. The daughter of Peter an academic, and Ilkay Silk, a prominent actor, director, producer, playwright as well as Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna recalls her first memories as being at play rehearsals with her mom. Silk played in a variety of commercials for kids. She graduated with a Bachelors degree in Arts from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas was active in at least two early theater productions including Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk was moved to Toronto Canada in the fall of 1999 in order to pursue her acting. Then she moved into Los Angeles California during the next decade. She met her future husband, Seth Cooperman, at an acting workshop held in Los Angeles in 2007. In 2009, they were wed in civil ceremonies in the month of December. After she had converted to Judaism, they were married again in the Jewish ceremony on the 10th of April 2011 in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman was blessed with her first son Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Levi Aaron is her second child, and was born on 13th of May in 2016. Silk's television work is centered around the character Cassidy Holland in Being Erica and she won the Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. The role was assigned to her as Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian TV series Lost Girl in 2009. Silk was pregnant during filming the finale of the third series. She announced the pregnancy to the fans in the Showcase Season Three pre-show special on January 6, 2013. Silk posted on Twitter on June 20, 2013 to announce that she was ready to return to work. The 4th of June 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially declared the start of production for the fourth season. CNN Cable News Network named Bo as well as Lauren Zoie Palmer as the couples with identical sexuality on Lost Girl to be one of the top television Couples of all time. E! Magazine declared that they were the top TV Couples of 2013 Entertainment Television. Silk is a huge following on Facebook and Twitter because of its success.
